For Those Who Have Not Felt Seen

Brothers & Sisters,

These are terrifying and challenging times; The BIPOC and LGBTQ communities are being threatened, and all too often, innocent lives are lost due to the racist and hateful rhetoric perpetuated in our society. As a queer black man, I have learned to walk through this world proud of the person I have become. However, there are days -  weeks even, where I feel hopeless and at a loss for what to do next.

Am I enough?
Does my voice really matter?
Will I ever truly be seen?
I am sure we have all struggled with these questions at some point in our lives.

It’s time that we shut those thoughts out for good.
If you are reading this, I urge you to remember these words.

We Are Enough.
Our Voices and Stories Will Always Matter.
You Are Seen and You Are Beautiful.

We will continue to uplift each other and demand justice for all.

We will win this fight. Together.

With Love,
